Potential openings for graduate students vary each year. Interested students should make contact anytime throughout the year, but preferably no later than December for September admission (admission is also possible for either January or May). Students can pursue either an MSc in Health and Exercise Sciences or a PhD in Kinesiology in our lab through the School of Health and Exercise Sciences within the Faculty of Health and Social Development. All graduate students are encouraged to apply to provincial and national funding opportunities to offset the cost of graduate training. I am always willing to help write and edit a scholarship applications.
Applicants who hold at least an 80% average over their past two years should apply in the fall (October) for relevant scholarships from NSERC, CIHR, or other funding opportunities to be awarded in the spring (May) of the following year.
